We believe in experiential education because we believe in the power of play. Playing is a vital part of life and through which much is learned. Wanting to make a positive difference in the lives of youth and adults SacredPlay uses cooperative games, team-building initiatives, and ropes courses in an educational setting.  Through our challenging adventure activities and focused reflection, we find that participants are motivated to achieve outstanding progress personally, professionally, and socially.

SacredPlay is a full-service organization dedicated to excellence across a range of services that helps multitudes of individuals, teams, treatment centers and corporate businesses to achieve positive and lasting change. We believe in tenets of leadership that value curiosity and have faith that not knowing is okay, because answers are out there to be discovered. Both emotionally and physically. We create an environment in which it is safe to take risks and try new things. An emotionally supportive environment is one in which people are encouraged to try and be supported in whatever effort they make. This is the absence of jokes or derogatory comments and It is never ok to joke about someone being dropped or a rope breaking.

CHALLENGE BY CHOICE

All of our activities are “Challenge by Choice”. Participants are encouraged to go beyond their normal comfort zones, but each participant determines their level of involvement. This encourages participants to take responsibility for their learning.

DON’T RUN DON’T HIDE

Our greatest service to each other is to create a space for each other to be human. This means it’s OK to cry, be scared, to not know, to make mistakes, to change our minds. Our greatest impact is honoring the individual in being human.

CHOOSE YOUR ADVENTURE

Portable Adventure Experiences

Using a variety of movable props and tools, our facilitators will bring the adventure to you or to one of our indoor partner sites.

Challenge (Ropes) Course Days

SacredPlay will work closely with you to develop a low and/or high ropes course consisting of the appropriate activities for the groups you will be serving, and appropriate for any site.

Ongoing Programming

Some goals are best met through a combination of on-site or off-site programming that takes place over a longer duration, like a semester, a school year or a business quarter.
